About Us

Firefly Coffee House is student owned, operated and staffed by students from Cabrillo College and University of California, Santa Cruz.

We serve organic coffee from Java Bob's, a local coffee roaster. We chose Java Bob's because a portion of the money spent on our beans go to an organization called Coffee Kids. The money goes directly to helping the children of the farmers for their education and living conditions.

Firefly Coffee House now proudly serves Larry's Famous Chai.

All of our food is prepared in house. Everyday we bake fresh muffin and brownie creations. We also do eggs, bacon, and sandwiches made to order.

We feature a multitude of coffee selections as well as wireless internet. We currently have a computer that can be rented for $7/hour.

Firefly Coffee House is located at 131 Front St in Downtown Santa Cruz next to The Hide Gallery.
